New Retail Offerings Fulfill to Finney Crossing’s Walkable/Bikable Downtown Vision

January 3, 2020

The Finney Crossing Development has exciting news to begin the New Year!  We’ve been working to complete our vision of a new-era walkable/bikable eco-community, and want to share the latest on retail developments:

Union Bank (Now in Service)

Union Bank opened its doors in August of last year on 31 Market Street. It houses both a bank branch as well as a mortgage loan center. This branch joins Union Bank’s 20 other branches which have served the communities of Vermont and New Hampshire since 1891.

Home2 Suites Hotel (Coming April 2020)

Part of any vibrant community is hosting folks who visit, and what better purveyor than Hilton Home2 Suites? This extended-stay hotel will be the first hotel opening in Williston in over 20 years and promises to offer all of the modern eco-friendly amenities. It will offer a stylish alternative to the existing hotel offerings, with superior access to movie, entertainment and dining venues. It plans to open in April 2020.

Healthy Living Market & Cafe (Coming Early to Mid 2020)

Healthy Living Market and Cafe is the third business to announce its commitment to the Finney Crossing development. They will be leasing the entire building, then su-leading 18,000 square feet to The Farmhouse Tap and Grill, with other restaurants and retail locations to follow. The new store continues their commitment to providing local, organic, non-GMO, and eco-grown produce for local communities. Healthy Living Market and Cafe is slated to open in early to mid-2020.

The Farmhouse Tap & Grill (Coming Fall to Winter 2020)

Next up: the Farmhouse Group has plans to expand its popular Burlington eatery, The Farmhouse Tap and Grill, to Williston. This restaurant will be the second restaurant they’ve brought to Williston in recent years, following the opening of Bliss Bee last April. Customers can expect much of the same delicious, locally-sourced fare that is served at their current Burlington location, which also includes an extensive craft beer and cocktail menu. The Farmhouse Group has significant experience through owning and operating area favorites that include The Guild Tavern, El Cortijo and Pascolo Ristorante, and expects to open this new establishment in the Fall or winter of 2020.

We believe that providing more venues & more opportunities = more sustainable living and less impacts on the environment.  It’s all coming together for our vision for a vibrant walkable/bikable eco-community.
