Walkable/Bikeable Downtown

Finney Crossing is located in the heart of Williston, and is within a walkable and bikeable distance to a variety of stores, restaurants, and green spaces. With plenty of areas to shop, eat, and play, Williston offers a space where eco-friendly transportation to your favorite places is encouraged. Williston road has dedicated bike path lanes, and Maple Tree Place offers a center to which plenty of businesses have gathered for your convinience. Finney Crossing is adjacent to these shops, allowing everyone the ability to choose a greener method of transportation.

Just across the road is the Majestic 10 theater which carries all the major films. And, with the many local restaurants that grace Maple Tree Place, it's easy to dine out and catch a movie afterwards. So, step up, buy some tickets, bring the kids and enjoy some popcorn.

Maple Tree Place also hosts a Summer concert series just within a stone's throw of our apartments. Our residents enjoy packing picnic baskets, grabbing a blanket, spreading it out on the green and listening to local and regional musicians on the gently sloping greens.

Just down Williston Road is the heart of historic Williston where you can vote, go to Town Meeting and reserve books at your local library. Adults with kids will enjoy the recreational area that includes soccer and little league fields in back of Williston Central School. And don't forget to come here on the 4th of July when the town turns out for the annual parade, library book sale and the ice cream social.

The local high school is Champlain Valley Union or CVU and is considered one of the best in the state. Vermont's known for the quality of its education and its investment in its children. The local elementary and middle schools are just minutes from Finney Crossing, providing easy access for those who walk, bus or bike to their classrooms.

Williston is the shopping destination not only for Vermont but for many Montreal residents as well. Along with the traditional "big box" retailers, our town features a great variety of local shopping and dining establishments. Even better, they're all within walking or biking distance.
